ABOUT TUMDA
On October 2nd 1993, The Theatre of Unique Music and Dramatic Arts (TUMDA) was born and graced the stage of the St. George's Anglican Senior School with its first production, “TROUBLE DOWN DEY.”
TUMDA uses MIME, POETRY, TABLEAUX, SONGS, and human beings to produce aesthetically pleasing productions, for you and with you the audience.
The culture of a people is the life they live, and the theatre of a people is what the natives give. With this in focus we create Grenadian Theatre, TUMDA deliberately promotes native Grenadian Arts.
All TUMDA productions are created by God first then the natives of TUMDA.
TUMDA offers workshops in stage management, voice training, drumming techniques, poetry and play writing, theatre techniques, tableaux, directing and mime.
